In This World, Tribulation:

John 16:32–33: “Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (NASB)

On April 7, 2017, I gave verse 33 to our email list without comment to ask for their financial support: This ministry received no extra help. When Almighty God called this watchman He used Ezekiel chapter three so I was not surprised – yet it still broke my heart.

The premise of the verse was that Jesus told them ahead of time so they would have peace in the midst of tribulation, because He overcame the world – He rose again; so how can you have peace in tribulation? By being literally born-again from above.

For twenty-one years now, I’ve been warning those saying “Lord, Lord” to make sure within their hearts that they will be ready for the Bridegroom. I even published a book in 2004 titled, The Portrait of a Christian, as an aid to help the professing Christian to do so. (I fixed a few typos and republished in 2014.)

Through our Blog, prompted by the Holy Spirit, these past eighteen months I’ve been doing my best to boldly warn what lies ahead; first to urge the professing Christian to examine themselves before it’s too late, second to the born-again so they may have peace.

Perhaps the ears of the professing Christian became dull – became “Lukewarm” – because so many “prophets” made a lot of money predicting the day of His return; even though it’s very clear in Scripture that no one will know the day and hour – no, not even the Son. However, it’s also very clear in Scripture that we will know the season of His return and also there will be a Great Apostasy within the church at-large as the Day approaches; the religious will never look into a spiritual mirror – not even in Jesus’ time.

How much time do we have left? I do not know, but I do know none of us are guaranteed our next breath. With a very somber heart I say once again:

Who will believe the message – the warning?
