The following verses of Scripture have been on my heart and mind for about a month: Daniel 5:5–6: “Suddenly the fingers of a man’s hand emerged and began writing opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace, and the king saw the back of the hand that did the writing. Then the king’s face grew pale, and his thoughts alarmed him; and his hip joints went slack, and his knees began knocking together.” (NASB)
The hand wrote on the wall: You were weighed in the balances and were found wanting (lacking). This world has now been found “wanting” and the chimes of midnight will begin to ring out in 2015; but as it was with the king (even before he understood the writing), will the Christian’s face grow pale and their knees begin to knock together; inasmuch as, “the writing is on the wall” as we move into 2015. Why? Because the born-again Christian’s heart will break – lament and grieve knowing what’s coming upon this unbelieving world according to God’s Word; as the Holy Spirit gives witness within them.
Whereas, the mere-professing Christian, and the world at-large, will believe the delusion and be completely oblivious to Almighty God’s coming wrath and judgment upon a Christ-rejecting world – a world which has embraced mankind’s “many out of one” salvation plan, which will ultimately lead to chaos – to Satan’s heart of rebellion – to Satan’s kingdom – to the Lake of Fire (in essence, everyone doing what’s right in their own eyes). Therefore, TODAY is the day to ask yourself: Do You Genuinely Desire Heaven?
The following is a quote from our Blog post of May 2008 titled: Prophecy and Prayer Request: “Shortly thereafter, during this last National Day of Prayer, our Lord seemed to tell me that this nation, and this world in general, have gone past the point of no return. Although, the individual will still have an opportunity to be saved, this world will be going from bad to worse very quickly now. Surely, His return for His bride cannot be far off.”
This year of 2015, will mark the seventh year since I wrote the above Blog post; the number seven in God’s Word means completion. Coincidence? Or now is the writing on the wall and there’s nothing left that will delay Almighty God’s coming wrath? Almighty God, thank you for Your sacrifice – Your salvation!
Do you hear the clock beginning to strike midnight? If so, TODAY would truly be a very good day to humbly find out: Do you genuinely desire heaven by clicking above on its title. (FYI: A chapter from our book: The Portrait of a Christian.)
