A Time to Pray: A Time to Listen:

Come let us reason together: This morning (August 18, 2017) as I was praying this Blog/Email came to mind; about fifteen minutes later (5:45 A.M. MST) the host of a secular news and talk radio station (KVOR) said, in not so many words, the same thing. With this so called “coincidence” could I remain silent? So I decided to post this Blog again and to resend this Email of February 15, 2017 titled, Prophet: Year 2017: Be Prepared, with a few changes.

Acts 9:10–16: “Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision, ‘Ananias’ And he said, ‘Behold, here am I, Lord.’ And the Lord said to him, ‘Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for behold, he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.’ But Ananias answered, ‘Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he did to Thy saints at Jerusalem; and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call upon Thy name.’ But the Lord said to him, ‘Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.’” (NASB)

Many will pray but then refuse to listen, because the answer from our Lord was too dreaded to accept. What if Saul and Ananias refused to listen to such a dreaded word from our Lord? In like manner, I heard in my prayers for about three weeks but said nothing, because it was too dreaded for me to accept. What was it? That the violence in the world, both by man and nature, will start increasing at an accelerated rate now. What should we do? Accept what I wrote on February 15, 2017 to pray and listen, and to accept what you hear.

Blog Post: February 15, 2017: Luke 22:35–38: “And He said to them, ‘When I sent you out without purse and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?’ And they said, ‘No, nothing.’ And He said to them, ‘But now, let him who has a purse take it along, likewise also a bag, and let him who has no sword sell his robe and buy one. For I tell you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, ‘AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS’; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment. And they said, ‘Lord, look, here are two swords.’ And He said to them, ‘it is enough.'” (NASB)

As this world and the mere-professing Christian moves quickly further and further from His unadulterated Word – from our Lord, His umbrella of protection also moves with Him to where even some of His people will get wet.

It is very important to consistently pray every day for Discernment, Wisdom, Strength and Courage – and for a hedge of protection. If you’re praying this prayer, when you feel a tug on your heart not to do something or go somewhere – do not do or go. If you then do not see anything happen – just maybe the warning was just for you; that said, you must not ignore our Lord’s warning within your heart. Be prepared in your heart for anything!

Also, a little physical preparation would also be prudent; however not too much for that would show that you put more trust in the “sword” than our Lord.
