Let Down Your Nets

This past year I’ve been a little discouraged, because no matter how hard I worked the response has been going down. Last night I told my wife that I felt my (our) Lord was telling me that now was the time to move with everything thing I have. Needless-to-say, because of this past year I pushed back as my faith had weakened.

This morning the following verse was in my devotions and I said—yes my Lord.

Luke 5:4–7: “And when He had finished speaking, He said to Simon, ‘Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.’ And Simon answered and said, ‘Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but at Your bidding I will let down the nets.’ And when they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish; and their nets began to break; and they signaled to their partners in the other boat, for them to come and help them. And they came, and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.” (NASB)
